Scoring in both classes 1 point per kilo

Tag & Release
Bill fish only - as per minimum weight per specie (indicated below). All
T & R must be witnessed. No sharks. The Myn Manne supports Tag &
Release. Should you weigh in an undersized fish, 50 points will be
deducted from your score. Weighing-in a juvenile fish could result in
disqualification of the boat. Should you tag a fish and hand the tag
certificate in, an extra 50 points will apply.
Points for Tag & Release:
Sailfish - 50 points
Marlin - 150 points

Skippers must be qualified and all boats must be
seaworthy and registered.

Teams must consist of no less than two persons and no
more than the number of people legally permitted on the boat.

No angler may have more than two rods in the water at
any time.

Fish caught remain the property of the angler.

Hook ups
All hook-ups on bill fish must be reported.

Lines up
To be confirmed and number of units to be reported at lines up time.

Weigh-in times - Monday to Thursday: 15:30 - 17:00;
Friday: 14:00 - 15:00.

The safety committee will consist of the the safety
officer and two nominated skippers from the floor.

The tournament committee will consist of the M.M.M.A
committee.

Rules may be altered at the discretion of the
tournament committee at anytime prior to, or during the tournament.

Launching at own discretion no more than three boats
allowed in the surf at any one time. No beaching of boats without prior
permission from radio control.

Minimum weight for fish caught
Game fish: 4kg
Marlin: 100kg
Sailfish: 25kg

Boundaries as per KZN rules.

Call up times will be at 8am, 10am, 12am and 2pm
every day.

Banners of companies may only be displayed for
official sponsors of the Myn Manne Marine Association.

Any Disputes must be logged before 18:00 the very
same day of the weigh-in.

Boats and anglers participating in the competition
may be subject to inspection of catches and/or safety equipment on land
or at sea at any time during the competition.

Sharks may not be landed. Strandlopers must weigh and
photograph Sharks and Rays and return such to sea.

All participants must comply with the Marine
Resources Act 18 of 1998 and Regulations as well as Ezemvelo KZN
Wildlife Reserve and Resort Regulations in terms of the Nature
Conservation Ordinance 15 of 1974.
